Please Note: We recommend you check that your passport and documents are ready for collection before you come to the visa application centre – to get to know your status you may use our online tracking facility available in this website or by calling our contact centre.
The visa application centre can get very crowded at peak collection time between 3 pm
and 4.00 pm. If you want to avoid the crowds you will find it much quieter to collect your
passport the next morning anytime from 8am onwards. Alternatively you can save a
second visit to the visa application centre and use our courier return service. Please ask
at the desk when you submit your application.

Security notice:
Due to security reasons the following items will not be permitted inside the visa application centre or stored in the premises.
Besides those mentioned below, there me be other items that could be prohibited based on security staff discretion.

All battery operated or electronic gadgets such as cameras, audio/video cassettes, compact discs, MP3's, floppies, laptops, or portable music players. |
| 2. |
All bags such as travel bags, back packs, briefcases, suitcases, leather, jute or cloth bags and zip folders. Only a plastic bag containing your application related papers would be permitted. |
| 3. |
Sealed envelopes or packages. |
| 4. |
Any inflammable item such as matchboxes/ lighters/ fuel etc. |
| 5. |
Any sharp objects such as scissors, pen knives or nail filers. |
| 6. |
Weapon or weapon like objects or explosive material of any kind. |
Please note: There are no facilities at the visa application centre to store prohibited items. Applicants are requested to make alternative arrangements to store their belongings.
Only applicants will be admitted to the visa application centre - with the exception of children who could be accompanied by a responsible adult; carers of disabled applicants and interpreters for the hearing-impaired.
Data Protection Act
The Data Protection Act prevents the UK Border Agency and VFS from providing information about visa applications to anybody other than the individual visa applicant or their authorised representative
